My name is Alexander (Alex) Lewis. I originally hail from Moscow but New Jersey is my home. Currently I go to Rutgers University and major in Journalism and Media Studies. I’m also a reporter at Courier News / Home News Tribune / MyCentralJersey. I’m many things: immigrant, ex-restaurant manager, non-traditional student and avid gamer.

I’m getting better at photography by learning from my mistakes as I go. I started this blog to try and help newcomers to photography get a grasp of key concepts and more. I know it took me a lot of research to get started and I hope to save people time and money.
